Job Description – APS Accountant 

 

Mission of the Role: 

 

We are looking for an Accountant to join the Partner Services team. This role is a key early hire and will help build a scalable, high-performing accounting function. You will report to the APS Senior Manager and work closely with the Controller, Chief Accounting Officer, and regional accounting teams. This role is fast paced, detail oriented, and offers strong visibility across the organization.
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Post and verify weekly cash transactions with Group Accounting Manager
  • Prepare and post monthly centralized entries relating to the 6 regional teams as part of month end close.  
  • Manage FloQast for timely month/year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis    
  • Assist with providing external auditors all requested materials, in conjunction with the APS Senior Manager  
  • Provide assistance in areas of technical accounting as needed (mostly related to ASC 805 – Business Combinations accounting)
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements
  • Execute the individual and team goals that support strategic and operational initiatives  
  • Contribute to team culture 
     

Experience: 

  • 1-3 years accounting experience, preferably in public accounting  
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field  
  • Ability to communicate accounting and financial information into common language  
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and teamwork
