Job Description – Operations Support Analyst

 

Mission of the Role:

 

Apex is looking for an Operations Support Analyst who is passionate about helping support key Operations Support functions with best-in-class financial analysis and analytics. This individual would be responsible for (i) executing workstreams in Procurement, Fleet, Claims and Real Estate, including ad hoc analyses, (ii) agreement and contract negotiation, reporting and scorecards, revenue, purchasing spend and forecasting (iii) being a thought partner on long-term strategic planning and growth initiatives.

This role is highly analytical, strategic, and data-oriented and is suited for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to combine financial, strategic and analytical capabilities, with a high level of emotional intelligence, to help grow the Company.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Build and maintain a direct link between Fleet, Procurement, Claims and Real Estate with finance and operations
  • Conduct detailed analyses with regard to financing, rebates, fleet accounting, maintenance and claim management functions
  • Drive strategic financial thinking across the Company and act as a thought partner to the Apex leadership team to identify efficiencies, best practices and cost savings
  • Develop detailed financial models to facilitate strategic planning and decision-making
  • Conduct cost and spend analyses and build presentations to support Operations Support functions
  • Assist with the creation and execution of strategic growth initiatives and other special projects, including timing and rhythm to achieve success
  • Become recognized as a trusted partner across Apex

Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field
  • 2+ years of prior finance and/or private equity experience

 

  • Exceptional financial modelling and analytic skills
  • Strong ability to communicate financial information into common language
  • Experience working with minimal oversight and directly with senior leadership, a plus
