Regional Procurement Manager at Apex Service Partners
The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company's procurement function. This includes identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of success in procurement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers based on factors such as price, quality, delivery, and reliability.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
- Manage the procurement budget and ensure that all purchases are made within budget constraints.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in procurement.
- Build trust and rapport with operational leaders throughout the org
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree+ in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred, not required).
- 3+ years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices.
- Experience in HVAC, Plumbing &/or Electrical fields highly preferred
- Willingness to travel 25-50%
